Renowned Australian Sprintcar chassis manufacturer Cool Chassis is about to get a whole lot hotter with the launch of Cool Racing Products, a new establishment which will work to bridge the gap by supplying of a wide range of high quality Sprintcar components, giving drivers and teams access to a more comprehensive solution.

Based in the speedway-orientated town of Warrnambool in Victoria, Cool Chassis, the brainchild of John Cooley who built the first chassis the better part of two decades ago, has predominantly focused on constructing Sprintcar frames for some of the best and most accomplished teams in Australia, with these teams previously sourcing their parts elsewhere.

Realising this shortfall and wishing to expand into the supply of these parts in order to make it as easy as possible for teams to source a more comprehensive chassis kit, Cool Racing Products has been created to manage sales and marketing, allowing Cool Chassis to focus on the fabrication and development of chassis and a selection of parts.

“Complementing Cool Chassis frames, the newly-established Cool Racing Products will offer a variety of Sprintcar components such as bird cages, arms, rods, motor plates, front axle beams and more, and these components are specifically designed to work with Cool Chassis,” explained Cool Racing Parts Managing Director Peter Milnes, a former Sprintcar racer.

With Cool Chassis experiencing significant success over the years, winning the prestigious Grand Annual Classic, the World Series Sprintcar Championship and the Australian Wingless Sprint Championship last season alone, the brand has well and truly established itself as one of Australia’s chief chassis manufacturers.

“While the demand for Cool Chassis has always been there, with the performance of the race cars speaking for itself, the unavailability of Cool parts has meant that drivers have been forced to shop around in order to complete their packages. Cool Racing Products will bridge that gap and create a unified solution for drivers and teams,” added Milnes.

The manufacturing process at the brand’s Warrnambool base will remain the same, with all chassis being constructed using Plymouth steel, which will be directly sourced from the United States, while products will be distributed from the Melbourne suburb of Laverton. Shipping of all products is available Australia-wide and also internationally to both New Zealand and North America.
