The Victorian Grand Prix Midget fraternity have their season underway and while the third event of the season was just finished, the season is just starting to get underway for many of the competitors with new cars and returning cars still to hit the track after Christmas, one man going to have a good Christmas is Paul Perry after winning the latest round taking out his first ever GP Midget feature-race win.

It was certainly not the way Shannon Meakins wanted to win the Victorian SDAV Hot Rods Title last weekend at Drouin Speedway, but he took it anyway.
After winning his maiden Queensland Compact Speedcar Title three seasons ago, Wayne Corbett last month at the Toowoomba Speedbowl picked up his second Queensland Title success in the class.
