Ben Migro has made an impressive start to the 2015-16 Limited Sprintcar season, and it’s something he is looking to build on.

As the defending Fast Racing Series and Perth Motorplex Track Champion, Migro has set the goals of a successful defence of both of them, and he is also eyeing success in the Western Australian Title and the newly-formed Western Australian Series.

In Migro’s first three outings of this season, he has won the first two rounds of the Fast Racing Series at the Perth Motorplex and most recently recorded a top-five finish in the opening round of the Western Australian Series at Collie Speedway.

“I’ve been really happy with the start I have made to the season, but I know that I have a lot more improvement left in both me and the car,” expressed the 30-year-old, who is currently in his third season in Limited Sprintcars since moving out of the Wingless Sprint class.

“With the new Western Australian Series, along with all of the other events, it’s one of the biggest seasons for the Limited Sprintcars in quite a long time, and that’s certainly a great thing for this state-based class.”

Migro might only be in his third season in Limited Sprintcars, but he has been able to mix it with the class’s veteran drivers pretty much from the outset.

“There are a lot of drivers in the class who have been racing Limited Sprintcars for a long time, and it’s one of the things that make the class so competitive,” the WA # 79 Complete Tyre Solutions supported Murphy driver noted.

“The competition is really tough, and when it comes to the feature races, you really need to qualify up towards the front in order to challenge for the win, because it’s tough coming from the back of the field.”

The next event on the 2015-16 season calendar for Migro is going to be the second Western Australian Series round at the Perth Motorplex on the Saturday night of November 21.

Migro is proudly supported in the 2015-16 season by the following sponsors: Complete Tyre Solutions, Hercules Tyres, AJ Cochrane & Sons, Performance Mods, Empire Graphics, Motorworld, Parr Motorsports, T&G Pools Services, Briffa Race Engines, Taubmans, and Murphy Race Cars.
