In just over a fortnight, an impressive line-up of Super Sedan drivers will converge for their NSW Title, which will be fought out for the first time in the event’s history at the coastal Sapphire Speedway track in Bega on the far south coast of NSW.


To say that Tim Weir was pleased with his recent performance during what is considered the largest Modified Sedan event in the country – the Kings Royal – would be quite the understatement.


Running the risk of driving an unproven car during the recent Western Australian Street Stock Title at Collie Speedway, fortune appeared to favour Jack Barnewall, who achieved the biggest result of his career when he claimed a well-deserved victory by the narrowest of margins.


Dehne Sparrow’s story isn’t one of luck, but one of unfailing perseverance, with his resolve recently rewarding him with the biggest milestone of his speedway career in the Production Sedan class.
