VINTAGE

The inaugural Vintage Speedway Auction has recently been launched and it’s hopeful that this event, which is fittingly to be held at Ash’s Speedway Museum in Bathurst (NSW) later this month, will turn into an annual event.

Organised by the team at Manshed Auctions, the Vintage Speedway Auction is going to have a range of vintage speedway cars, bikes and memorabilia up for auction from around the country.

“I’m very excited about the first ever Vintage Speedway Auction and it’s great that it’s going to be held at a fitting place like Ash’s Speedway Museum,” expressed Manshed Auctions proprietor Keith Levy, who is the grandson of the 1953 Australian Solo Champion, the legendary Lionel Levy.

“We are just under a month out from the auction and we have a variety of cars that are set to go under the hammer, and there is certainly going to be something for everyone.”

Levy continued by saying that he is hopeful that the Vintage Speedway Auction is going to turn into an annual event.

“In the lead up to this event, we have had so much interest from different parts of the country, even internationally, so I’m very hopeful that we can turn this into yearly event,” he enthused.

“Apart from the vintage speedway cars, bikes and memorabilia auctions, this event is hopefully going to be an opportunity for speedway enthusiasts to come together to catch up and talk about the bygone years.”
